LIVE the Charles “Julio Foolio” Jones Homicide Trial — FL v. Alicia Andrews

The court case of the woman accused of helping plan the murder of rapper Julio Foolio, whose real name was Charles Jones is now in progress in Hillsborough County Court.

Prosecutors say that she helped track the rapper’s movements while the victim celebrated his birthday. They claim she communicated with others who later trapped the rapper in a hotel parking lot.

Three gunmen allegedly fired dozens of rounds, taking his life and leaving three others hurt.

The defendant has been charged with premeditated murder and conspiracy to commit murder.

Detectives have presented digital evidence that they say tie Andrews to the scene. This includes location tracking data and photos recovered from her phone.

Her defense attorney argues that she didn’t know what the others intended to do. They claim she was not involved in any plot.
